Hire a lifeguard in Suffolk County for a season, a weekend or a single afternoon. We are a staffing company rather than a training school, so placing the right guard and covering the shift is the whole job.

How much does it cost to hire a lifeguard in Suffolk County?
Suffolk is priced separately from Nassau, and the East End differs again, because travel and availability genuinely change the job. Send the location, the type of water and your dates and we will quote it properly rather than applying an island-wide rate.
Do you provide lifeguards for pools, camps and swim clubs in Suffolk?
Most Suffolk bookings are seasonal pools at associations, day camps and swim clubs. Camps carry a compliance angle beyond the pool itself, because New York State children’s camp regulations set supervision ratios stricter than general bathing rules. Say so when you call, because it changes the headcount.
Is a pool lifeguard qualified to guard a waterfront?
A pool guard is not automatically qualified for open water. Surf, currents, limited visibility and distance rescues need different training, and a bay beach in Southampton is a different job from an ocean beach. If your water is anything other than a pool, tell us, because we staff those from a different group.
What does a lifeguard booking include?
Current certification with CPR/AED and First Aid carried on site, and a certificate of insurance naming your association, camp or venue as additional insured. Suffolk County Department of Health Services expects the paperwork in order before you open.
Can I get short notice lifeguard cover on the East End?
Same-day cover in western Suffolk is often possible. On the East End in peak season it frequently is not, and we would rather say so than fail you on the morning.
Frequently asked questions
What does it cost to hire a lifeguard in Suffolk County? It varies with location as much as hours, because East End coverage needs guards placed nearby. Send the site, the water type and the dates for a quote.
How far east do you cover? The whole county, though availability tightens the further east and the later you book.
Do you staff beaches as well as pools? Yes, with waterfront-trained guards, quoted separately.
Can you cover a camp for the whole season? Yes, and camps are usually better served by a season contract than week-to-week booking.
